I am not a spider person. If one creeps its way into my house, it’s dead.

But these simple spider crafts are simply too cute to pass up!

Some fun times to make these preschool spider crafts:

I didn’t realize until this year just how many spider crafts we had created! I guess if you add googly eyes on them they are just cute enough to make for a fun Halloween craft for kids.

A couple of years ago, we created these simple paper tube spiders. This craft takes that craftivity up a notch by adding crepe paper.

These little crepe paper spiders are great for little fingers. They get to tear and crumple up streamers which is sure to be fun!

Cut each of your black pipe cleaners in half. Your white can be cut to any length depending on where you plan to hang your spiders. Here it is cut into thirds.

Last year, during the Halloween season, we created quite a few fun flying, or climbing, activities. They were all such a hit with the little ones we had to add to the bunch!

This construction paper witch is a great Halloween craft for kids because when they are done creating they can start playing and she can hang around all season.

  • Construction Paper. Green, Black, & Brown.
  • Scissors.
  • Glue Stick.

How to make a witch kids craft

Here is the step by step instructions for creating a paper witch. See them all in action in the video below!

Start by creating all of your shapes. Your child can definitely create all of these shapes with a little direction or you can simply draw the shapes on a piece of paper and walk away.

In green, you need one larger circle for the witch’s head and 2 smaller ones for her hands. This paper witch craftivity is so much fun! Using simple supplies, your child will create a Halloween craft that can make their imagination fly.

In brown, you simply need a broom handle and a broom. For the broom bristles just cut out an oval, cut the long ways to make bristles, and then trim the edges. To make the hair you will cut two long rectangles. Then make 2 cuts almost to the top.

How to make a flying witch craftivity

To make your flying device, use a hole punch at both ends to add two holes to your cardboard tube. Then press down 2 of the holes so they face the ceiling.This paper witch craftivity is so much fun! The witch will only fly as far up as your kiddos wingspan. Cut a piece of yarn about 6 inches longer than their wingspan.

Take the yarn and tie a bead at one end. Lace the yarn into the tube, on an unfolded end, up and out the top, back down, and out the side. Then tie on your second bead. Monster Rocks

Painting rocks with your kids is always fun… but, sometimes the mess isn’t.

I like to let my kids paint, but there are days that I wouldn’t really want to get out all the paint, brushes, aprons, and pallets.

Then you have to clean up after. Some days they only paint one rock!

My favorite solution, paint pens! We love to use them for painting rocks because clean up is a simple as putting the caps back on!

So grab some paint pens and give these monster rocks a try!

If you want you can base coat your rock before putting on your monsters, but this is not necessary. I just had base-coated rocks lying around from a different project.

When adding the white use a dabbing motion so you do not pick up the color from underneath.
