Tips for making this Easter Sunday School craft

Let the kids paint the paper plates first thing. Then tell the Easter story while the paint dries!
For a quicker craft, cut the templates out ahead of class.

Easter Paper Plate Craft

This simple religious craft is perfect for Sunday School or an Easter party

Prep Time 10 minutes

Difficulty Easy

Materials

3 paper plates per child
Quick-dry tacky glue or school glue
Blue tempera paint
Black tempera paint
Resurrection Template Files (1 cross and 2 tombs for each child)
Metal brads
Additional stickers (optional)

Hole Puncher

Instructions

Paint one paper plate blue and one paper plate black. Leave the third plate white.
Glue the cross to the white plate
On the black plate, glue one tomb with the stone in front of the entrance.
On the blue plate, glue one tomb with the stone rolled away.
Once the glue has dried, stack the plates and then punch a hole in the bottom left corner and add a metal brad.
Add additional embellishments or stickers!
