Halloween is getting close!
We thought we would dig up some pictures from the past couple Halloweens.
**Disclaimer… these pics were all taken pre-blog we know they aren’t great, but we still love these easy ways to dress up baby and mom so we had to share!
Since Little Miss wasn’t mobile yet, her first Halloween was the perfect opportunity to make a mermaid costume!
Create an easy no-sew tool skirt and then tie off the bottom. Presto you have a mermaid tail perfect for a baby and easy to open if you need to sneak a diaper change. I even sewed for part of it! Check out these cute shells I made for her top and hair band! Just simple thread and felt. A little added detail.
And since I was a new Mommy, I went with something super simple.
I was a Sim! (I used to be a bit of a Sims junkie before I had babies)
Last Halloween I wanted to do a joint costume with baby V. Since I would be carrying her around I wanted something that made sense with her being stuck to me.
So I made the Cutest little spider I have ever seen!
For the costume, all I used were 3 pairs of tights, a black onesie, and some stuffing. I stuffed the tights, cut the crotch out, and pulled them up around her waist. This was so simple and affordable!
I went as her web. I had this old sundress that had a stain on it. I drew on the web with a sharpie marker and called it a day.
I took advantage of a cute onesie that I had for Mr. Monster.

Hello Abbey! I actually just cut out the inseam a bit between the legs. Not too much because the material has quite a bit of give to it!
