It was party time in the Ortiz family! When O turned 8 last month, he decided to have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party. I can’t lie, I was excited!! I saw so many cute decorations on Pinterest so the ideas were flowing. As I searched around there was one thing missing… A fun themed activity! One of my favorite parts of the new movie is when Splinter makes the turtles go to the HASHI for ninja training. I was instantly inspired, I had found my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Activity!
Ninja Turtles Party Activity: Welcome to the HASHI.
Here you will train the ways of the ninja!!
Stage 1: Balance
Supplies:
foam eggs
spoons
painters tape
Simply tape off their path. I did 2 difficulty levels, one for younger children.
To pass this stage they must carry 2 eggs on spoons along the given path.
Stage 2: Stealth
Supplies:
Yarn
Bells
Chairs
Using the yarn, zig-zag back and forth between the chair legs to make foot holes. Tie on the bells so you know if they hit the string.
To pass this stage they must make it through without ringing any bells.
Stage 3: Accuracy
Supplies:
A shoebox or bowl… anything they can aim for
Ninja throwing stars. I made my Ninja Turtle colors (click here for folding instructions)
*side note… I made plenty of extra stars for their goodie bags, they Loved them!

To pass this stage they must throw in a set of ninja stars. Have the younger children make half.
Stage 4: Strength
Supplies:
Black balloons at least 1 per kid
Something to store them in
To pass the final stage of their Ninja Training they must defeat a member of the Foot Clan.
(aka pop a balloon)
Once their HASHI training is complete they are officially Ninjas and may choose their turtle color.
I bought a yard of each color and had a lot leftover!
Just cut strips, this was a lot easier than doing eye holes.

Let them choose their favorite turtle color.
Kids of all ages enjoyed training in the HASHI to become Ninjas!
I think V went through about 100 times!!
Anytime someone new made it to the end a balloon would pop so everyone would know and cheer for them. The kids really got excited about that!
This Ninja Turtles party activity was a success! We had a lot of happy Ninjas running around. I was off to plan my next big party… J would be turning 7 and he is requesting MINECRAFT!

What a fun time!! My little guy is slowly learning to love the TMNTs and as a child of the 90s I couldn't be happier.
