Pinterest is loaded with keepsake crafts for kids and I have to admit, no matter how the end result comes out, I usually love doing them. I often use quick craft ideas as distractions to get things done around the house. A spur of the moment desire, to get V to sit still, turned into an amazing Keepsake Toddler Craft. One that is frame-able, hang-able, and darn right priceless!
For the sake of art, I tend to let my little ones get messy, even if it means pink fingers and cheeks until bath time. This craft is no exception! This specific piece was done by my 2-year-old! It turned out so cute and she had a blast creating it.
What you need for your Keepsake Toddler Craft:
- Stamps (I found these letters in the $1 bin at the craft store!!)
- Ink (found at the same place)
- Painters tape
- Cardstock or weighted paper
Then I let her go at it!! They will get messy and some will smear. I encouraged her to stamp on the tape as well. You want to get it thicker around the tape so you can see the lines.
We hope you give this project a try! Make sure to share it too!
