Wet Rock Painted Hearts

Use this fun painting technique to create beautifully, one of a kind, heart rocks!

  • Paint Brush
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Start by getting your rock wet. You want to wet the top and the sides so it is nice and saturated.
  2. Using a toothpick start adding your first color onto your rock. The color will run a bit. This is what you want.
  3. Next, add on your second color. Swirl the color on and around your first. They will begin to blend together a bit.
  4. At this point, you can be done or add a third color. we wanted to add a bit of pink!
  5. Allow the paint to dry, about 10 minutes. Then, use your brush to create hearts onto your rocks. For this, you can choose any color you like! If needed add a second solid coat.
  6. If you would like to protect your work make sure to use a clear coat sealer. Make sure your rock is completely dry before seeling.valentines day painted rocks
