Twinkle Twinkle Paper Stars

It is safe to say I have a not so little obsession with these little paper stars… They are just so cute, and fairly easy to make once you make a few.  After playing around with them I have come up with a few different ways to use up these paper stars that were now laying all around my house!Have fun playing around with these cute little origami paper stars! First, you need your stars right! You can make them many different sizes. Use thin paper. All of these stars were created with computer paper. I let V color some of the pieces, I also sprayed some with glitter…. not my brightest idea. They blow around because they are so light. Some of the glitter stuck, but not much.

Here are measurements for 3 different sizes.

For the medium sized stars tape together 2 strips of paper that are 1 inch wide. For the small starts cut a strip of paper 1/2 and inch wide. You only need one piece.

Create a little stand using toilet paper tubes (or paper towel tube cut in half) and a piece of cardboard. A quick ring of glue (hot glue works great) and you’re done! Match the star colors to the tube colors.

More ways to play… Make them count them, pick them up with tweezers, or toss them from farther away!

A Jar of Little Paper Stars

Just as it sounds! Make them in all different sizes and colors and fill a jar for a cute little kids table centerpiece. They can dump them out and play around with them. Then fill it back up!

I thought that was going to be much harder than it was. I love the different ways you incorporated the stars into crafts and decor. I love the color matching game and think that would be perfect for Connor.
